Hi. Can you please give a quick opinion on our ability to get into China for a week in September for business and travel? Are we wasting our time and potentially risking our plane fair? Do you recommend waiting until November or December? Can you please recommend how to proceed and what type of visa to obtain. Thank you so much for your time.

Hi Scott,

depends where you are. If you are not in HK, means you are eitehr in US or EU I would suggest to do following: Make your reservation for flights + hotel. I mean reservation. Apply for L visa (tourist visa) with this documents. I think for the period starting after end of August this will already calm down. But for now nobody can guarantee as so many different "interpretations" .......If you are not urgent to go then better wait ! But this blog will be up-dated as much as possible with hopefully more positive news when available. Cheers.
