Sunday Morning Post - more & more influence on mainland business



unfortunately this will be not the last reports about how much the new "china visa regulations" influence mainland business. Just click the report and you will have full size for comfortable reading. It will be not a big surprise if this GAMES will also be a "financial desaster". Athens was & the one before (I forgot - was it in Australia or USA ??) was also one. The "normal" mainlander will rather enjoy it on TV than going there - too expensive everything !
And "foreigners" - maybe are now scared with all the negative info and difficult visa regulations. So in the end it will be only "friends & comrades" from the 100,000's of officials - THEN IT IS REALLY A CHINA OLYMPICS.....!

I think China is over reacting inlieue of forthcoming Olympic games. They are forgetting that China is major production country and many of the MNC's set up their factory in China. The new Visa control for foreigners will badly hit the image of China.

Yes Bara, the effects are slowly creeping in .....it was very unwise to do like this. There should have been a more balanced system - but just to take out the "steamhammer" was def wrong.
