about a woman + "a man". The woman is most probably black and about "the man" we know nothing - but lets guess he is a "local" and found a stupid and naive foreigner for cheating.

THE case of a woman said to have been staying in Shanghai illegally for more than two years after being tricked into paying for a fake visa is being investigated by the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration. The woman from West Africa, identified only as "Gana," was arrested by police at the end of last month. She entered China on a tourist visa in November 2005, and after travelling to Shanghai, heard it was possible to buy a work or study visa which would allow her to stay in the city. She paid 2,000 yuan (US$292) to a man who offered to get her such a visa, but whenever she asked about it he gave her vague answers.Eventually, in January 2006, Gana got her passport back but found it didn't contain an effective visa extension. Although she realized she had been conned, she failed to contact the exit-entry administration because her tourist visa had already expired. Soon she spent all her money and had to ask her family to send money as she wasn't able to get a job in Shanghai. She was caught by police last month.

Sorry for this - lets hope she has not to face serious consequences, as she has been conned due to not "knowing how this really works". Lets hope somebody can find "the man" and kick him in the ass - because he is the one who should get punished.
